What’s New at Shore Surf School for Summer 2026
Summer is nearly here, and we’re getting ready for another big season at Shore Surf School on the beautiful St Ives Bay.
Whether you’re booking a surf lesson, hiring equipment, joining us for beachside yoga, or picking up some new kit, here’s what’s happening for summer 2026.
Surf Lessons in St Ives Bay
Our surf lessons are running throughout the season for beginners, families, kids, and improvers looking to progress their surfing.
Based around St Ives Bay, Gwithian, and Godrevy, we’re lucky to have access to some of the most consistent and beginner-friendly surf beaches in Cornwall.
Surf Hire Available
We’ll continue offering surfboard and wetsuit hire for those who want to get in the water without bringing their own equipment.
Whether you need a softboard for a fun beach session or a wetsuit for the day, pop in and speak to the team for honest advice on what suits the conditions.
New Yoga Classes with Iona from The Antidote Club
New for summer 2026, we’ll be hosting yoga classes with Iona from The Antidote Club Yoga.
Classes start on Saturday 9th May at 8:30am from our surf school base at St Ives Bay Beach Resort.
These sessions are ideal for surfers, holidaymakers, and anyone wanting a calm, movement-based start to the day by the beach.
Fresh Softech Softboards Landing in June
We’ve got a fresh drop of Softech softboards landing with us in June, including the ever-popular Zeppelin and Roller models.
These boards are a great choice for summer surfing, offering plenty of float, stability, and fun for a wide range of abilities.
Second-Hand Surfboards and Wetsuit Bargains
We still have a small selection of second-hand softboards, miscellaneous hardboards, and a second-hand wetsuit rail with some proper bargains available.
Perfect if you’re looking to get started without buying everything brand new.
Scrunch Silicone Beach Buckets
We’re stocking Scrunch silicone beach buckets, a better beach option than traditional cheap throwaway buckets and spades.
They’re flexible, durable, easy to pack, and a much more environmentally considered choice for beach days with kids.
