Welcome to the Shore Surf Club – a year-round surf community based near Gwithian at Upton Towns St.Ives Bay Beach Resort and Godrevy, right in the heart of St Ives Bay, Cornwall. Whether you’re just starting out or already chasing green waves, the Surf Club is the perfect way to keep progressing, stay ocean-fit, and make new surf friends.

Our sessions run every Saturday, with extra meet-ups during school holidays and special surf socials throughout the year. Each week we focus on fun, safe, and supportive coaching designed to help every surfer – young or old – improve their skills, confidence, and ocean awareness.

What’s Included

• Regular coaching and safety from qualified lifeguards, experienced surf instructors
• Surf safety and ocean knowledge (tides, rips, conditions)
• Access to boards and wetsuits if you don’t have your own
• Community events, surf trips, and beach clean-ups

Who Can Join

The Shore Surf Club is open to kids, teens, and adults who are comfortable in the water and ready to build consistency. We group surfers by ability so everyone gets the right balance of challenge and fun.
