Peter

Peter lives and breathes the ocean. A true Cornish waterman, his knowledge of the local coastline has been built over a lifetime spent in and around the sea.

Whether he's fishing, creating incredible meals in the kitchen, or drawing smooth frontside lines across a wave, Peter brings passion and experience to everything he does.

Peter co-founded Shore Surf School with Laurence in 1999 at Godrevy and remains just as stoked about sharing the joy of surfing today as he was on day one.

Favourite surfboard: Anything with two fins

Laurence

Laurence has spent a lifetime chasing waves, with an enduring passion for surfing and everything the ocean has to offer.

When he’s not in the water, you’ll find him tinkering with his beloved MG Midget, riding hydrofoils, or searching for the car keys he swears he only put down a minute ago.

Laurence co-founded Shore Surf School with Peter in 1999 and has dedicated decades to sharing his knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of the sea with others.

Favourite surfboard: Vouch Surfboards 7’4” Rolled Vee.

Perry

Perry follows the sun wherever it leads, spending the colder months chasing waves and warmer climates around the globe.

A lover of yoga, banjo music, and organic living, Perry brings a calm, positive energy both in and out of the water. Having coached with Shore Surf School for many years, he’s helped surfers of all ages build confidence and develop their skills.

Favourite surfboard: MF Softboard Fish.

Known for his positive attitude and dedication to helping others progress, Dylan brings plenty of energy, knowledge, and encouragement to every lesson. Whether you’re standing up for the first time or looking to refine your technique, you’re in safe hands with Dylan.

Favorite Surfboard: Firewire longboard

Felix

Felix combines a love of travel, surfing, music, and great food into a lifestyle centred around good waves and good company. A talented pizza chef and keen guitarist, he’s as comfortable around an oven or a campfire as he is in the surf.

Entering his third season with Shore Surf School, Felix has firmly established himself as a key part of the coaching team. His knowledge, positive attitude, and passion for surfing shine through in every lesson.

Favourite surfboard: Single fin midlength.

Dan

Dan has been chasing waves around Cornwall and further afield for as long as he can remember. Whether it’s surfing, foiling, photographing, or simply spending time in the ocean, you’ll rarely find him far from the water.

A familiar face at Shore Surf School for the last few years, Dan’s role extends far beyond surf coaching. From website development and marketing to water photography and content creation, he’s usually involved in just about everything behind the scenes. If something needs doing, there’s a good chance Dan has already started it.

Having been close friends with Peter and Laurence since the very early days of Shore Surf School back in 1999, Dan has watched the school grow from its beginnings into what it is today.

A passionate prone foiler and all-round waterman, he’s always searching for the next wave, the next foil run, or the next excuse to spend a few more hours in the sea.
